Individual housing
Calves don't have a strong immune system in the first few weeks of life and are therefore kept in isolation. Our single-calf housing meets all the requirements of the Animal Welfare Regulation.
Group housing
Around the third week of life, calves can be kept in small, age-appropriate groups. This promotes the calves' well-being and social behavior as herd animals. Furthermore, when implemented optimally, this usually leads to higher feed intake.
Optima Climate Stable (OKS)
The Optima Klima Barn offers your calves an excellent environment for optimal growth. Calves enjoy perfect air quality and easy access to feed and water. The barns are constructed of stable, UV- and acid-resistant plastic panels. The walls are 5 cm thick and are attached to concrete with stainless steel U-profiles. For an optimal climate year-round, the roof is perfectly insulated with sandwich panels.
