In practice, calves often experience a setback when transitioning from individual pens to group housing in the barn. The CalfOTel® XL-10 is therefore the absolute best follow-up after individual housing. By rearing calves outdoors in this system until approximately 3 months of age, you prevent these issues. Calves then return indoors with a healthy start. Naturally, the XL-10 system possesses all the strengths of the CalfOTel® individual pens; the XL-10 is also highly compatible with automatic calf feeders.
