The best hutch for a good start

Good calf rearing is increasingly important for efficient and successful dairy farming. To further optimize calf rearing, VDK Products has developed the ‘CalfOTel Hybrid’. A unique, new housing concept for calves, in which calves are housed ‘outdoors’ both individually and in small groups. This allows calves to remain in the same hutch from day one until three months of age.

Labor, hygiene, and animal health were central to the development of the system.
