Frequently asked questions about the Quattro Calf Box XL

Want to know how many units you need? Our advisers will work it out with you.

How many calves fit in a Quattro Calf Box XL?

The unit has four lying spaces. You can use it as four individual pens, as two pair pens or as one group pen for up to four calves.

How do I turn individual pens into a group?

The partitions are removable. Take out one partition and you have a pair pen of about 4.5 m². Without partitions, it is one group pen for four calves.

What is the difference between the two versions?

The Quattro Calf Box XL with hinged floor has a hand-operated floor that tips open two lying spaces at a time, so you muck out by lifting the unit and opening the floor. Otherwise the sizes are the same: four lying spaces measuring 2,000 × 1,100 mm inside.

How do I move the unit?

The Quattro is a liftable calf unit. You pick it up with the loader and set it down wherever you need it.
